Mein Dissertationsprojekt untersucht die Konstruktion und Subjektivität von Frauen, die in Kriminalfilmen der sogenannten Sechsten Generation Chinas töten.
Anstatt Gewalthandeln vorschnell mit Handlungsmacht gleichzusetzen, fragt die Arbeit, wie Narration, Bildgestaltung, Genre und Festivalrezeption darüber entscheiden, ob eine Frau als Subjekt erscheint – oder als neues Objekt der Faszination.

Based in Hamburg
I am a film researcher, critic, and cultural project organiser working between Chinese and European film contexts.
I hold an MA in Literature and Media from the University of Bamberg and am returning to doctoral research in East Asian film studies. My wider professional background spans e-commerce operations, project coordination, and multilingual communication.
Across these fields, I am interested in the same practical question: how can complex material be researched carefully, shaped clearly, and brought into meaningful contact with an audience?
